The Portofino Modificata, or Portofino M as the abbreviation reads, is an updated version of Ferrari's popular Portofino model. According to Ferrari, the car "has undergone an evolution that has improved its performance". The main innovation is the 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox taken from the Ferrari SF90. It shifts faster, is lighter and has an additional gear compared to before.

Furthermore, a new mode on the manettino knob has taken its place, namely the race mode, which is calibrated for maximum driving pleasure and performance. In addition, the power has been increased to 620 horsepower, which enables a top speed of 320 km/h.
